Stephanie stated that "I had a great time, and it was a great experience!" She also explained that the Medical Spelling competition is a category where "You have to be familiar with spelling medical terms, and also their prefixes." She went on to explain that "In the competition, you would be given a paper, multiple choice test, where you are given the definition of a word. You had to choose the correct spelling of the term." Stephanie had the opportunity to compete and represent not only Valley Head High School, but the DeKalb County Career Tech School. She also had the opportunity to visit the Alabama State Capital. Stephanie was impressed with our state capital and stated that, "It was BEAUTIFUL!" Stephanie added, "I enjoyed staying at the Renaissance Hotel and Spa Convention Center, and getting to dress professional for the events." As Counselor at Valley Head it is always my pleasure to recognize the great students we have at Valley Head. We are very proud of our students and the accomplishments they have!
